Tim Reed grew up in Bath, SD, on the 800 acre working farm passed down by his family for generations. It was these early years that his free time was spent, BB gun in hand, developing finely tuned instincts that would serve him well for a lifetime. Tim's father was no stranger to the sport, as he regularly shot at a small club in Columbia; so too did Tim become familiar with the sport at a young age.
Since those early years, Reed has established an impressive shooting resume. He has secured All-American Team placements 18 times since 2005. He reached AA-27-AA status in 2002 and made AAA-27-AAA the next year. Reed completed his ATA Grand Slam in 2005 with 100 from the 27-yard line. During the 2006 Champion of Champions, he landed the runner-up spot after 100 in the program and a 19-round shootoff. The tie-breaker stands as the Grand record for one-day shootoffs.
