New York Athletic Club, First Prize
April 29, 1911
Gold and Diamond
His name was Barclay Maynard Higginson. Everyone in Newburgh, NY, called him Maynard. Every trapshooter on the East Coast called him Ben. And those who shot at the prestigious New York Athletic Club in Pelham Manor, NY, from 1908 to 1974 knew you had to beat him to win. You are about to view one of the finest collections of trapshooting medals known. You can see them in the Hall of Fame museum.
