Trapshooting Hall of Fame
2014 Scholarship Information
Review the requirements as well as the steps to apply for an HOF scholarship.

Amount of Scholarship: $5,000 each

Eligibility: Any High School Senior who is a member of the Amateur Trapshooting Association.

Requirements:

  1. Scholastic
    1. Complete Scholarship Personal Data Application (click link for application)
    2. Write a short essay, 100 words or less, of need
    3. Attach a letter of recommendation from one of the following:
      • Certified Instructor
      • ATA Delegate
      • Guidance Counselor
  2. Trapshooting:
    1. List years shot, major wins, records, etc.

*SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS DUE TO THE HOF OFFICE BY JUNE 15 OF THE STUDENT’S GRADUATING YEAR.

(If supporting documents are not available by the application due date, those documents should be sent as soon as available)

Hall of Fame Silent Auction

This year’s HOF Silent Auction will open for bidding at 9am on Sunday, August 10th. The Auction will be held in the Main Events Center. Please stop by and make your bids prior to the closing of the Auction at 4pm on Thursday, August 14th. Please collect any winning Auction items by 4pm on Friday, August 15th.

The 2013 HOF Grand Award Winners

* Lauren Mueller; Plainview, IL won The Lela Hall Frank Memorial award of a trophy and $250 cash as the Ladies Clay Target Champion

* Rick Marshall, Jr.; Lincoln, NE won The Hall of Fame contributor awardof an  Oak Wall Clock, suitably engraved from Shamrock Leathers as the high score of eligible participants in the Grand American Handicap

* Drew Strohecker; Pearl City, IL won The Tom Seitz Memorial award of an engraved Seiko watch and $200 as the High Jr. in the Grand American Handicap

* Samantha Wagner; South Wales, NY won The Tom Seitz Memorial award of an engraved Seiko watch and $200 as the High Sub Jr. in the Grand American Handicap

* Jason Scheer; Gretna, NE won The Dr. Howard McGarry award of a Kindle Fire with case and a $50 Amazon Gift Card as the High Sub Jr in the Clay Target Championship and that has been an ATA member for two yrs or less

* Christopher Haire; Jonesboro, IL won The Dr. Howard McGarry award of a Kindle Fire with case and a $50 Amazon Gift Card as the High Jr in the Clay Target Championship and that has been an ATA member for two yrs or less

* Rob Lamont; Brandon, Manitoba won The James G. Wilsie trophy as the High Canadian in the Clay Target Championship

* Troy Coldwell; St. Phillips, NFLD won The James G. Wilsie trophy as the High Canadian in the Doubles Championship

* James Hannah; Nine Mile River, AP won The Jimmy Robinson/Harry Wilsie trophy as the  High Canadian in the Grand American

*  Patrick R. Lamont: Brandon, Manitoba won The James G. Willsie trophy as the High Canadian in the High Overall Championship

* Andrea Bassan; Torbay, AP won The James G. Willsie trophy as the High Canadian in the High All Around Championship
